Desert Camping_20130221

After a kind of a very hectic week, the week was crowned with a lovely weekend. I was invited for a desert camping with some totally new friends; it was a good opportunity to go out enjoy the nature and meet some interesting people.

The trip started at the meeting point where some of the guys agreed to meet at. Not all of them had a four-wheel drive cars and for those who don't have a four-wheel drive cars (like me) we had to park our cars at the meeting point and join others who had a four wheel drive cars.

The first stop in our trip was a place called "Tab'bat Ga'adan" it's a low level spot surrounded by high mountains of dune sand. The place was very crowded and it seemed to me like a very popular place for people who have passion about desert drifting and smashing the engine of their cars while fighting the dune sands. I'm not very much into such activity but it was nice to see it.

Here below are some of the pictures at "Tab'bat Ga'adan"

The second stop was where we had to stay over night, its a lovely beach called "Sawadi Beach", the people were very interesting, and it was the birthday of one of the guys so we had dinner, then candles in the cake and we sang for him. It was really lovely.

In the morning, we had our breakfast, then we started moving back to Muscat. Here are some of the pictures taken at Sawadi Beach.

Walk Around Muscat_20130214

Last weekend I was suppose to join a photography walk around the Hertiage Village at Muscat Festival but the guys turned up so late and had to go around alone and take pictures. It was very nice to see part of Oman's culture and traditions. Here below are some of these pictures taken during the walk.
